Scheduling when a survey opens and closes

Done with Email Notifications for Google Forms

  1. Open your Google Form

  2. Click on the Puzzle Icon in the top right corner

  3. Click on Email Notifications for Google Forms

  4. Click on Limit Google Form Responses

  5. Choose the Date, and time if wanted, to Open the Form on

  6. Choose the Date, and time if wanted, to Close the Form on

    1. Note: You can also choose to close the form after a certain number of submissions

    2. You can also choose to have the form only open on certain days between certain times

  7. Click Save

Filtering and presenting responses

Done with Advanced Summary by Awesome Table

  1. Open your Google Form

  2. Click on the Puzzle Icon in the top right corner

  3. Click on Advanced Summary by Awesome Table

  4. Click on Open / Edit Summary

  5. Choose what questions you would like to include in the Summary

    1. Should probably include all questions to start then can adjust as needed

  6. Click Open Summary

  7. Use the Slider in the top left corner to filter by date

  8. Filter by responses

    1. Click on the Plus Sign of a question

    2. Choose the answer you would like to filter by

      1. This will filter all data to only include responses that chose that answer

Having a report in a pdf format

  1. Open your Google Form

  2. Click on the Responses tab

  3. Click on the Three Dots in the top right corner, next to the Send Button

  4. Click on Print

  5. Right click on the page that opens

  6. Click on Print in the menu that opens

  7. Update the Destination field to Save as PDF

  8. Click Save

  9. Browse to where you would like to save the file

  10. Click Save

Ease of sharing a preview of the form

  1. Send link to Preview version of the form

    1. Open your Google Form

    2. Click on the Eye Icon in the top right corner

  2. Copy the URL of the page you are taken to

    1. You can now send that URL to anyone you would like to preview the form

      1. Note: You will need to make sure the Form is open to everyone

        1. Click on the Settings Tab

        2. Click on Responses

        3. Click on the Slide Button next to Restrict to users in Center for Mission Mobilization to turn it off
